Tughlaqabad circa 1321-1327

On December 3, 2009 I visited the old archeological site of Tughlaqabad near Delhi with my music teacher Dr. Aneesh Pradhan and two new friends. The site consists of the Tughlaqabad Fort and the Mausoleum of Ghiyath al-Din Tughluq. This site is especially interesting to me since it coincides historically with the life, events, and myths surrounding the saintly figure Hazrat Nizamudin Auliya (1238 – 3 April 1325).

Here are the pictures I took with my Nikon D40.
