I am a student of music. I have been learning the Indian percussion instrument tabla since 1995. I am thankful to my teachers Nirmala Godhwani, Arshad Syed, Ravi Gutala, and Swapan Chaudhuri. I have also benefited from guidance offered by Partha Chatterjee and Shubha Mudgal.

Since 2005, I have been studying tabla and aspects related to music making from Dr. Aneesh Pradhan.

I am thankful to my parents for introducing me to the world music, and encouraging my musical endeavors.
